Field Technician/Installer - (Show Details)

Works closely with Senior Engineer. Communicates directly with customers; works with provisioning, project managers, sales and other support staff.

General Summary:
Entry level engineering position performing cross-connects, hardware swap outs, moves, adds and changes. This position will be responsible for installing and upgrading all elements of Cisco WAN solutions, including cabling, cable management, racking equipment, & configuration. The Field Technician will demonstrate strong customer-service skills with various clients and co-workers.  This position will require a team oriented individual who will work at the direction of Sr. Field Engineers or the direction of the Network Operations Center Manger. Flexible hours, 24x7 on call support and infrequent travel are required.

A Field Technician / Installer at FLTG is responsible for responding to customer service order requests and projects that will primarily require cable management, racking equipment, configuring equipment designed by a Sr. Engineer, installing equipment for the engineering group which may include voice, data and network systems for clients. This position will primarily require implementation skills and support for a diverse client base.

Specific Job Duties:
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Cisco Internetworking and IP/Telephony Systems. Exposure to Cisco Routers/Switches/Firewalls, Sniffers, Data Shapers, Protocol Analyzers and VPN Technology is required. Knowledgeable with Current VOIP, Cisco AVVID products including, Cisco Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, Cisco Voice Gateways and Cisco IPCC a plus. Candidate should be familiar with routing protocols (MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, and BGP), the OSI model, DNS, and common network troubleshooting techniques.

Current active certifications include: Preferred Cisco WAN / LAN experience is a plus. Successful candidate should have a strong working knowledge of terminology and must have working knowledge of voice, data and networking systems.

Experience: A minimum of one year working experience in customer service or technical support.

Network Operations Center (NOC) Solutions Architect - (Show Details)

Job Summary:
This is a Sr. Technologist position in a fast paced growth organization focused on implementation and support of existing and new business.
